History[edit]
British Spring College was founded on 18, October 2011 by Lady Obianuju Dike. It was approved by the British Council and the Federal /State Ministry of Education. The school system is designed to foster students leadership potential. The school strongly believes that the 21st Century child should be educated with all necessary skills: moral and mental skills. The school, which is located at Awka, the state capital of Anambra State, has been rated amongst the best schools in Nigeria.[3]

The placement of students is based upon age, education needs, and social/emotional maturity.
Age by 1st September
- Class 7, must be 11 years and above
- Class 8, must be 12 years and above
- Class 9, must be 13 years and above
- Class 10, must be 14 years and above
- Class 11, must be 15 years and above[4][5][6]
Curriculum[edit]
The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that provides students with a solid foundation in the core academic subjects, as well as opportunities to explore their interests and pursue their passions.
The school, in essence, operates the Nigerian and the British National curriculum but also patterned to suit students from the United States and other students around the globe.[7]
Scholarship[edit]
Prospective students who seek admission into British Spring College gets scholarship place opportunity. The scholarship scheme applies to tuition fees only. Full scholarship on tuition fees at British Spring is based on outstanding academic performance. The percentage deduction rate on tuition fees ranges from 15 to 75% based on the outcome of individuals’ academic assessments.[8][9][10][11]

- Cultural Activities: The school promote music as a potential for child development. They also have an active school choir as music is the bridge between divinity and humanity and the medicine of the soul.[12]
- Sports: As a student of British Spring College, you have many options for exercise and for keeping bodily fitness. The school holds internal indoor and outdoor sporting activities on weekly basis.
