Rear Admiral Bryan Donkin SM MMM is a retired South African Navy officer who served as Flag Officer Commanding Defence College from 1996 to 2001.
Military career[edit]
He joined the South African Navy through the Naval Gymnasium. He qualified as a watch keeping officer and served on surface vessels.
He was appointed as a Naval Attaché to Argentina. Capt Donkin was appointed as OC SAS Scorpion around 1995 and later OC Defence College in 1996–2001. Director at the Defence Headquarters from 2002.
