Bungakuza (文学座 Bungakuza) is a Japanese theatre company.[1][2][3] It – along with the Haiyuza Theatre Company and the Mingei Theatre Company – stages shingeki plays.
History[edit]
The company was founded by Kunio Kishida,[4] Mantarō Kubota and Bunroku Shishi on September 6, 1937.
On March 25, 1938, the company staged its first public performances with Migotona Onna, Wagaya no Heiwa and Kunokkusu.
