BurghRecords is a sound effects libraries based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It releases and publishes sound editing sample packs and VST plugins, designed for first-time entry-level users. Its key aspiration is to enhance creativity for young people with varying degrees of learning difficulties and encourage them to start making music.
History
Sonny Fascia founded BurghRecords in 2008 as a self-made outlet for releasing his instrumental music. In 2013, they began creating audio sound packs to help entry-level music makers start producing. In 2016, they created PhatNoise VST plugins[1], a simplistic and intuitive GUI that allows the user to enhance their creative outlet in the most simplistic way.
Products
BurghRecords has launched plug-ins in collaboration with PhatNoise, such as the Simple Delay plug-in released in 2016[2], the ModFilter plug-ins released in 2017[3] & Lofi Bass Filter released in 2017 [4]
