Burghtown Music Group is a hip hop collective from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, known for their independent releases, videography, activism and live performances. Activism
Burghtown recorded "What U Gonna Do" in response to the 2010 Jordan Miles police brutality case. Produced by Buck 50 and featuring Jasiri X and Geisha, the track addressed law enforcement violence and racial injustice.
The group also released "Trust" in partnership with the AIDS Coalition of Southwestern Pennsylvania to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in Black communities.
