Luis Cotto Jr (Born March 17, 1982) better known by his Producer name JussLu , is a Puerto Rican American Mixing Audio Engineer, Producer and Writer based in Los Angeles , California. JussLu specializes in mixing and producing Rap, Hip Hop and Reggaeton. Along with writing and remixing top 40 Pop Music. JussLu has released 4 Instrumental singles in 2022 on the Record Label GroundUp Media Group. Another Record ’Toca’ (Reggaeton) is announced to be released in June 2022.

Early life and education

JussLu began Mixing in 2004 out of his home studio. Early 2008 he opened a Recording Studio in Worcester Massachusetts called db Studios.

In 2010 he attended The Art Institute in Brookline Massachusetts for a Bachelor in Science (Audio Production) Degree. After one year in college he began to experiment with remixing Top 40 Pop hits. In 2013 he started producing Rap, Hip Hop and Reggaeton Beats. In late 2017 JussLu began to pivot into writing Top 40 Pop Music while still mixing and producing after moving to Beverly Hills California.

Biography

JussLu was born and raised in Worcester Massachusetts and moved to Beverly Hills California in 2015.

Career

JussLu produces Rap, Hip Hop and Reggaeton with an East Coast influence. His mixes are driven by effects and what he calls “Ear Candy”. In 2013, JussLu produced Ariez Onasis ft TUGE - See About Me.

In 2015, he remixed Trey Songz - Slow Motion, through Atlantic Records, along with a Chainsmokers - Roses Remix. From 2015 - 2017 he produced a run of industry instrumental remakes which had his instrumentals played on ESPN Radio and SWAY In The Morning. Also in 2017 JussLu released Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You Remix. JussLu wrote Pop records for a few years and in 2020 he produced a record called Wu-Tang by Fat Bible where he sampled Triumph by Wu-Tang Clan. In March 2021 he produced the theme song for Complex Brackets hosted by Brian “B.Dot” Miller which is now in their second season. 2022 has been busy for JussLu. He has released four new Instrumental singles. CrossOver , Fuck You , No Apologies which features spillboy and Two Steps Ahead that also features spillboy .
