Business Creativity: Learning to Apply Creative Thinking to Build Successful Business Models is a 2020 textbook written by Michael C. Fanning and published independently. It is the first textbook written by Michael C. Fanning on the subject of entrepreneurship. Business Creativity is the first volume of a series of textbooks called Fundamentals of Sustainable Entrepreneurship, which has won awards in Africa and Europe. It is a comprehensive guidebook for aspiring entrepreneurs who desperately want to acquire the critical business tools to generate a brilliant idea and turn it into an innovative start-up company.[1]

The textbook was partly funded by the International Sustainability Academy (ISA) through a research-based scholarship, a project of the Association for the Protection of the German Forest (SDW) and was as a result well received by Managing Director and member of the Bundestag (the German federal parliament) Mr. Rüdiger Kruse, who was satisfied with the textbook as he obtained the first-ever paperback copy of Business Creativity at the Wälderhaus (Hamburg), which was also signed by author Michael C. Fanning.[2]

The rationale behind the textbook is to review and finalize the introductory module of a continental Entrepreneurship Education Curriculum (e-Textbooks and e-Workbooks offered 100% online) with a regional focus (specific to North Africa, Central Africa and Southern Africa), meeting the requirements of the national curriculum of each host country.[3]
