BYJU'S Exam Prep is an exam preparation company based out of Noida, India.[1][2][3]

In 2015, BYJU'S Exam Prep was founded as Gradeup under the parent company GradeStack Learning Pvt. Ltd. by Vibhu Bhushan, Sanjeev Kumar, and Shobhit Bhatnagar.[4]
With a primary focus on undergraduate students, the company registered over a million students into its services in its first year. In March 2019, Gradeup crossed 13 million registered users on its platform.[5]
In November 2019, Gradeup raised $7 million in series A funding from Times Internet.[6]
In 2021, the Indian edtech company BYJU’S announced the acquisition of Gradeup, which was subsequently renamed to BYJU'S Exam Prep. As of September 2021, the company claims to have 25 million registered students.[7][8]
Currently, BYJU’S Exam Prep has courses in 25 competitive exam categories that it provides via a mobile application, its website and YouTube channels.[9]
The company has tied up with NITI Aayog for the aspirational districts to create a pool of 3,000 students that do not have access to any exam prep.[10][11]
