C.A. Walker Research Solutions, Inc. is a custom market research provider of quantitative and qualitative research services for both consumer and business markets. They conduct research nationally and internationally, and in various languages. It was founded in 1972 by Charles "Charlie" Walker with several partners. It went through several iterations of names before becoming C.A. Walker & Associates. The company was purchased by its employees when Mr. Walker retired and has remained employee-owned since. C.A. Walker & Associates changed its name to C.A. Walker Research Solutions, Inc. in 2002.[1]

ClarusVision

In 2005 C.A. Walker launched a proprietary data collection and reporting system called ClarusVision, which provides clients with access to real-time research results.[2]

Clipstream Video Security

In 2007 C.A. Walker began using Destiny Media's Clipstream as a secure method for handling and testing clients' media stimulus in video format. It features multiple levels of security, including the secure ID, which locks content to authorized host servers and domains, a screenscraper blocker and a dynamic watermarking solution that identifies the user on video playback.

CineVoter

In 2008 a business unit of C.A. Walker, Portable Research, launched CineVoter, a research program that invites moviegoers to use their cell phone or mobile device and let Hollywood know what they think. MESSAGEBuzz was used to manage the text messaging component, which allows moviegoers to text for a link to the survey that can then be completed on a web-enabled phone or desktop/laptop. CineVoter was relaunched as an iPhone application on May 8, 2010 and is available for download in the iTunes Store.
