CARiD is an American eCommerce retailer of motor vehicle parts and accessories. The website is operated by Onyx Enterprises,[1] a privately owned company, headquartered in Cranbury, New Jersey. Notable products include wheels & tires, aftermarket performance parts, collision & restoration parts, interior and exterior accessories.

Overview[edit]

CARiD was founded in 2008 in Edison, NJ, and combined automotive aftermarket parts and accessories for numerous model applications. In 2010 the company expanded and moved their corporate offices and warehouse operations to a larger facility in Cranbury, NJ.[2] In late 2014 CARiD expanded the website’s offering to some non-automotive products, however the main focus was not moved away from the motor vehicle parts and performance equipment. While applications are available for models from 1908 model year ( Ford Model T), the site is mostly specialized on vehicles from the 1970’s to current. Products are available for the most passenger cars and trucks sold on the North American Market. According to the 2016 statistics reports the site averaged over 7,000,000 visits per month.[3][4]
