The CEDAW Alliance Germany (German: CEDAW-Allianz) is an alliance of 32 non-governmental organizations concerned with women's rights and gender equality. It was founded in 2018 on the initiative of the German Women's Council (Deutscher Frauenrat) and with financial support from the federal government. The organization is hosted by the German Women's Council.[1] The alliance states that it "calls attention to human rights violations and discrimination against women* and girls*, taking intersectional discrimination into account. It takes an active stance against sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia and anti-Semitism."[2]
