COSMOS 2607238 is a barred spiral galaxy located in the Sextans constellation with a redshift of 0.6562, which equals to a distance of 6.4 billion light-years. This galaxy is part of a study of more than 2,000 spiral galaxies from the largest galaxy census conducted by the Advanced Camera for Surveys aboard NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. The observations are part of the Cosmic Evolution Survey (COSMOS).[1]
