CRF Frozen Foods recall

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The CRF Frozen Foods recall is a product recall involving over 400[1] CRF Frozen Foods and Garland Ventures Limited[2] consumer goods delivered under more than 40 different brand names which are being voluntarily recalled.

The food involved may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria, which can grow at low temperatures. Listeria may cause serious infections in children, the elderly as well as others with immune system issues.

The recall may include products fabricated or used in Pasco, Washington since May 2014, with best by dates or sell by dates between April 2016 to April 2018.[3]

Since September 2013, at least 8 individuals have been sickened by Listeria linked to CRF Frozen Foods.[4]

David Pitt of The Associated Press described it as "one of the largest food recalls in recent memory".[5]
