Movate formerly CSS Corp[1] is a US based Technology Support Company. Headquartered in Texas, USA, Movate was founded in 1996 and employs approximately 5,500 employees at 16 international locations . Its largest operations are in India. Movate's USA headquarters is in Milpitas California, with Its main development center is in Chennai, Movate has global locations in China, Costa Rica, India, Mauritius, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, UK and US.
History
Movate was founded in 1996. SAIF Partners invested $22.5 million in Movate in 2006 .[2]
Movate raised a $25 million round in 2007 led by Goldman Sachs . Venture capital firm Sierra Ventures also held a stake in Movate. [3]
In 2010, Movate acquired Glow networks, Aliquo solutions and InteQ . [4]
In 2011, TG Ramesh (Tiger) was appointed as the global CEO of Movate.[5]
In 2013, Partners Group , the Switzerland-based private market investment manager acquired a majority stake in Movate for $270 million. Partners Group's investment in Movate is also one of the largest investments in India's information technology sector.[6]
In 2016 Manish Tandon replaced TG Ramesh (Tiger) as CEO of Movate
Services
The company offers outsourced technology support for high tech products, application modernization and cloud migration, IoT product development and cyber security.
Movate is also a provider of professional telecom and carrier services to carrier networks.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Movate Foundation is the CSR arm of Movate. It actively engages in environmental and social contribution initiatives, E-waste management, community engagement,[7] environment and wildlife conservation,[8] are its primary areas of focus.
Movate became a member of the United Nations Global Compact and has aligned its operations and strategies with universally accepted CSR principles.[9]
Movate develops partnership projects in areas such as wildlife conservation. ‘Care for Paws’,[10] is one such initiative in which the company supports the Karnataka State Government in India to protect Tigers at several wildlife sanctuaries,[11] and also create awareness about Tiger conservation.
Movate's other sustainibility and CSR activities are - E–Waste management, educating under privileged students and empowering talent to make them employable.[12]
