Cachet is a free, self-hosted and open-source status page system written in PHP, using the Laravel framework. It was created in 2014 by James Brooks. Cachet was initially released as a free alternative to StatusPage.io.
The source code of Cachet is hosted on GitHub and licensed under the terms of the BSD-3 License.
History
James Brooks created Cachet as an alternative to StatusPage.io, a hosted subscription-based service. The backend of Cachet is written in PHP and the Laravel framework. The frontend uses Bootstrap for the CSS framework.
The last stable release was v2.3.18 made in May 2019[1]. It is presumed that Cachet is no longer maintained.
