Calvin Ross (born October 02, 1988 in Jackson, Tennessee, U.S), popularly known by the stage name Calvin Ross is an American singer and songwriter currently based in Atlanta, U.S.[1]

Early life and education[edit]

Calvin Ross was born in Jackson Tennessee. Calvin Ross grew up listening to Michael Jackson. He also cites Usher, Ginuwine and R Kelly as his musical influences.[2]

Career[edit]

The most important showcase to date was one held at P Diddy recording studio called The Plug in NYC. Where he placed second and had a meeting with the head A&R of Def Jam Recordings Jason Polo Carbonel.

Early in 2015 the Memphis rapper Kia Shine caught wind of Ross and his vocal talents. Soon afterwards releasing Best Stroke which featured Ross.[3] His first single, "Bad Fetish", was released in March 2015.[4]2016c Calvin released a single Lost Love.[5] 2018 Calvin released a EP with fellow Jackson TN native 2c's.[6]

On December 14, 2018, Calvin Ross released his first EP with 2c’s titled Erotica.[7][8]

August 26, 2020 Calvin signs a management deal with Rushing Management with exclusive production from Drumma Boy.[9][10]
