Cameron Hardy Kocurek (born October 11, 2000) is an American singer-songwriter.[1] He released his debut single, "I Thought You Were Lonely" in May 2021.[2] His second single release, "Perfume"[3][4], co-written by Delacey[5], began rotation on iHeartRadio stations in the United States.[6]
Early life[edit]
Hardy was born in Austin, Texas[7], the son of Chris and Carolyn Kocurek. He has an older half-sister, Kathleen Young.[8] He first started playing the guitar at the age of ten.[9] At the same age, he started playing the piano.[10] He attended St. Michael's Catholic Academy in Austin.
At sixteen years old, Hardy released a cover of Selena Gomez's "Bad Liar"[11], which was noticed by Selena on social media.
Career[edit]
On May 7, 2021, Hardy released his debut single "I Thought You Were Lonely"[12], which he co-wrote with Ryan Ogren[13] and Rollo Spreckley.[14] His follow-up single "Perfume" was co-written with Delacey.[15][16]
