Camille Putois is a French public service official and entrepreneur. She is the founder of K,[1] a service that helps simplify the French administrative experience.[2]

Education[edit]

Born in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, she attended École Normale Supérieure (Ulm) where she studied History, Sciences Po, and École Nationale d'Administration, where she studied public policy and administration.

Career[edit]

She began her career as a senior officer for the Ministry of Interior from 1997 to 2006, holding positions in Avignon as Chief of Staff of the Préfet de Vaucluse, Gap as General Secretary of the Préfecture,[3] and Nouméa as Deputy General Secretary of the High Commissionner for New Caledonia.

She left the Ministry of Interior at the end of 2006, to serve as Chef de Cabinet for Ségolène Royal,[4][5] then a presidential candidate for the 2007 elections.

After the campaign came to an end, she joined Havas as Director of Corporate Communications. She then went on to join Publicis as COO of Mediatransports. During her time at Publicis she also served as co-chairman of MediaGare and MediaRail in the Transit and Transportation Advertising division.[6][7]

She returned to the public sector in 2012, when she was chosen to serve as the deputy chief of staff for French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault from 2012 to 2014.[8]

Up until June 2016, she was a partner at Brunswick Group.

K[edit]

In 2015, she founded K with Victor Ribeiro, a former director of product management at Google.[9][10][11] It is a service that aims to digitize and simplify the French administrative experience, offering easy-to-read information and a marketplace connecting users with former administrative officials in order to provide immediate, personalized help with administrative questions, forms and procedures.[12]
