Cantabil Retail India Limited is an Indian retail company founded in 1989[3] involved in the design, manufacture, and retail of readymade garments.[1] The company caters to the mid-premium segment in the Indian apparel market.[9] The brand 'Cantabil' was founded by Vijay Bansal in 2000 in Delhi, India. Cantabil is a publicly-listed company under the name ‘CANTABIL’ in the National Stock Exchange (NSE) & Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) of India and has a “BBB+ outlook Stable” rating from ICRA.[10]
Vijay Bansal is the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Deepak Bansal is the Wholetime Director, and Shivendra Nigam is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cantabil Retail India Limited.[11]

In 1989, Cantabil Retail India Limited was incorporated as a private limited company under the name of Kapish Sales Pvt. Ltd. In 2000, the first Cantabil retail store selling men's wear was opened by Vijay Bansal in New Delhi.[4] The company introduced ladies' wear in 2008 and kids' wear in 2018.[12]

Cantabil's portfolio for men includes shirts, trousers, denim, t-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, suits, blazers, and accessories. Ladies' wear consists of tunics, kurtis, shirts, tops, t-shirts, capris, blazers, sweatshirts, suits, denims, leggings, etc.[13] Kids' wear includes shirts, trousers, denims, dresses, jackets, and other garments.[14]
Operations[edit]
Cantabil's production facility spans a 3-acre plot with 1.5 lakh sq. ft. of floor area in Bahadurgarh, Haryana.[1]

Cantabil has a retail presence in 150+ cities across 17 Indian states and has 320 exclusive brand outlets.[15]
