Capital J is a Canadian drum and bass DJ, turntablist and record producer.[1] From a young age, Capital J was interested in battle deejaying. By the age of thirteen, he was winning London, Ontario, Canada’s foremost scratch competitions.
In 1997, Capital J moved to Toronto and became involved in the drum and bass scene. Within two months, he was awarded DJ of the month by Tribe Magazine. He followed that up by releasing the magazine’s top-selling mixtape by a featured DJ.
