Capitol Casino is a poker room located in Sacramento, California and has been family owned and operated since 1991. The casino is licensed by the California Gambling Control Commission.[2]
Clarke Rosa, the owner of the casino, is also the president of the Communities for California Cardrooms, a nonprofit organization[3]
Casino[edit]
Located in downtown Sacramento, Capitol Casino is over 17,000 square feet[4] including the gaming tables, cafe, and full bar and lounge. The cafe located within the casino, Capitol Cafe and Restaurant, serves traditional American and specialty Asian and European cuisine.[5][6]
The casino offers Blackjack, Pai Gow, and Baccarat among others.[7]
There are no slot machines available at Capitol Casino due to California's regulations on private casinos.[8] and also prohibits smoking in its facilities.[9]
The casino was also where J.C. Tran's first noteworthy foray into playing poker.[10]
