Search CarX Street on Amazon.CarX Street is a free-to-play racing video game developed and published by CarX Technologies for iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows. The game released for the iOS platform in Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine is set release globally for all other platforms in the second half of 2022. Playstation and Xbox versions of the game are currently in the works.[1][2]

Gameplay[edit]

CarX Street focuses on underground street racing, vehicle customizations, and performance tuning. Players will be able to roam freely in the large fictional map of Sunset City and complete various races and challenges to progress through the game. Players will have the option to tune their cars for more grip handling or for drifting. Different options on customizing vehicles are made available such as body kits, paints, rims, spoilers, underglow and more. The game also features an in depth performance tuning system allowing the player to purchase upgrades and the ability to swap engines. Players can also join various racing clubs and take on other rivaling clubs to gain access to more unique parts, exclusive races and properties.[3]

Development[edit]

The first showings of CarX Street development were seen in late 2019 on their community hub on Steam showcasing different landscape and vehicle concepts.[4] The game was originally going to release 5 November 2020 for PC but was postponed to 24 November 2021 due to the team's dissatifaction of the game's state. The PC release was postponed a second time to 8 September 2022 to further work on the quality of the game.[5][6] An open beta was made available in early April 2022 for the iOS platform which later shortly lead to the release of the game on iOS in Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine.[7]
