CardLife is a first-person survival game set in a cardboard open-world developed and published by Freejam Games. CardLife is currently in the pre-Alpha stage of development, but is anticipated for release in 2019.[1]
Gameplay[edit]
The primary goal of CardLife is to accumulate materials by harvesting flora and killing fauna and then craft new weapons, armour and buildings to help make your mark in the online cardboard world.[2] There are many similarities to Minecraft.[3] It is possible to play the game on official PvE or PvP servers or via private player controlled servers.
Concept[edit]
CardLife started life as a proof of concept, ostensibly as a cardboard 3D modelling tool for children. As the game's development progressed more survival genre elements were added to the live client, with players tasked with hunting down creatures, accumulating resources in order to survive in the open world.
