CardsChat is an international online poker forum established in 2004. The websites offers news, information and resources on poker, and describing itself as "A Worldwide Poker Community".[1]

CardsChat was founded in 2004. It was launched as a forum where poker and card gamers of a variety of levels, from all over the world were able to discuss all card games-related topics.[2][3] It then changed to an online poker platform where poker players can discuss poker strategy with other players including professionals and Ambassadors such as Dara O'Kearney, Ryan Laplante, Evan Jarvis, Jeff Gross[4][5] and Nathan "BlackRain79" Williams.[6]

In 2010, CardsChat launched a league consisting of teams participating for prizes playing Texas hold 'em.[7]

In 2014, CardsChat launched a daily poker news service to keep poker players updated with the changes in the industry.[8]

Since 2014, CardsChat has been hosting team events at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).[9] In 2015, CardsChat launched a Leaderboard that awards over $2400 annually in cash and prizes.[10] In 2018 CardsChat celebrated reaching 250,000 members by giving away over $40,000 in events for their members.[11]

In 2019 they celebrated their 15 years anniversary with over $30,000 in events. By March 2020 CardsChat had over 300,000 members from every country in the world.[12]

Poker Tools & Resources[edit]

In 2006, CardsChat launched an odds calculator which allows players to simulate a poker game and calculate the odds of all possible outcomes to determine the likelihood of winning that hand.[13]

In December 2019, CardsChat launched a hand converter and replayer that enable poker players to convert their online poker hands and replay them for review in a video format.[14]

In April 2020, CardsChat launched a training course consisting of a 30-day program and ebook written by poker professionals and CardsChat ambassadors, Collin Moshman and Katie Dozier.[15][7]
