Cariuma is a Brazilian based sustainable footwear brand founded in 2018.

Cariuma was founded in 2018 by David Python and Fernando Porto in Brazil that design and manufacturer sneakers.[1][2] Cariuma manufactures shoes in Brazil and China[3] with offices in Singapore, New York City, Los Angeles, and Rio de Janeiro.[4][5]

Cariuma shoes are handmade, and uses sustainable materials including canvas, leather, suede, bamboo and recycled plastic knit.[6][7][8] Its soles are sourced from sugar-cane based EVA. The insoles are made through a mix of cork and memory foam.[4]

The company purchases carbon offsets to make its recycled shipping carbon neutral.[9][10]
