Lawal Ismaila, popularly known by his stage name "Cash Wale" is a Nigerian recording artist, songwriter and producer.[2][3][4][5][6]
Early life[edit]
Born in Lagos, he attended the University of Lagos where he studied Civil Engineering.
Career[edit]
Cash Wale began his music career in 2013. He released his debut single "Oshomolo".[7] In January 2016, he released a song titled "Won Kere" featuring Dammy Krane and the song was preceded by "Lover Lover.[8][9] He rose to prominence in 2018 when he released his hit song Handkerchief, featuring Idowest, a Nigerian Afro-beat artiste.[10] The remix of the song which featured CDQ, Malaika and Idowest was released in August 2018.
