Ukraine

The Central African Republic and Ukraine established diplomatic relations on September 14, 1995.[1]

History[edit]

In 2014, the Central African Republic voted in favor of United Nations General Assembly Resolution 68/262 which would recognize Crimea as territorial integrity of Ukraine.[2]

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine[edit]

Relations grew strained under President Faustin-Archange Touadéra due to Touadéra preferring to align more with Russia than the West. In 2023, Touadéra expressed support for Russian involvement in Ukraine.[3]
