The Centre of Aviation Photography (COAP) is a UK-based international organization centered on the topic of aviation photography. Members represent numerous fields including: professional photographers, writers, and aviation enthusiasts. The society is also known by its acronym, COAP, and has roots going back over 10 years. COAP is well known for their series program of ‘Exotic Wings’ ventures providing unique photography opportunities (international military, civil and specific airshows), a charitable engagement with the Royal Air Force for “day in the life” visits behind the scenes, Photography & Post-Processing Workshops, Air-to-Air photo flights, Photo Shoots and Seminars. Members collaborate on the exchange of aviation photography ideas, technique, philosophy, and equipment to others in the field. Members can interact with renowned photographers, develop their skills, and learn different levels of photography and post-processing at a novice or professional level.
