Certified outsourcing professional
Certified Outsourcing Professional or COP is a professional certification given to leaders in the outsourcing industry. The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, an association that also grants the certification, states that "The Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) designation distinguishes individuals as leaders in the field of outsourcing. It powerfully demonstrates that they possess the experience and knowledge required to design, implement, and manage outsourcing initiatives that have a high probability of achieving an organization’s intended outcomes.[1]
Getting a professional certification generally takes anywhere between two and four months and includes a peer evaluation stage.[2]
