Cgiapp is an open source rapid development web application framework, for use in building dynamic web sites with PHP. "Its goal is to enable [developers] to develop projects much faster than writing code from scratch, by providing a method of organizing a developer's code and creating logical separation between the various layers of an application; View, Controller and Model.[1]
Cgiap was ported from a Perl project called, Cgi::application by Matthew WeierO'Phinney who was employed at the time by The National Gardening Association[citation needed]
