Cgiapp is an open source rapid development web application framework, for use in building dynamic web sites with PHP. Its goal is to enable developers to develop projects much faster than writing code from scratch, by providing a method of organizing a developer's code and creating logical separation between the various layers of an application; View, Controller and Model.[1]
Cgiapp was ported from a Perl project called, Cgi::application by Matthew WeierO'Phinney who was employed at the time by The National Gardening Association[citation needed]
