Chaitanya Hiremath

Chaitanya Hiremath is an Indian entrepreneur, writer, and speaker.[1][2][3]

Biography[edit]

Born in Delhi, India, Hiremath is the son of Bollywood producer Savita Raj Hiremath, who produced the film “Khosla Ka Ghosla”. He got a B. Com (Honors) degree from Delhi University and moved to the Czech Republic to complete his MSc in International Business from Prague College.[1][2][3]

Career[edit]

Hiremath was interested in emerging technologies and when he returned from the Czech Republic he started Sleipnir Studios, creating 3D animations for virtual reality devices like Oculus and developing the short film, Modak, shedding light on poverty and child labor.[4]

In 2016 he founded the company Scanta, a tech company that is known for its work in augmented reality, having built the world’s first AR-based basketball game. Hiremath was also featured in Discovery Channel’s Expedition Unknown Series, “Cracking the Secret”. Scanta is funded by Accent Capital Group.[1][5][6][7][8][9]

Hiremath is also known for his work in cybersecurity, and is a frequent speaker at MIT and Stanford, and was invited to be a keynote speaker at the MISK 2020 conference, organized by the Saudi Arabian government. He is currently a senator representing startups at the G20 Summit, and a contributor at Forbes.com.[10][11][12]
