Chalk Daily Fantasy Sports
Chalk Daily Fantasy Sports is a Barcelona web-based daily fantasy sports contest provider. The company allows users to enter daily and weekly fantasy sports-related contests and win money based on individual player and team performances in NFL, Liga MX, UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, La Liga, and Formula 1.
Beginning[edit]
Chalk was established in June 2015 and began operating in July 2016 in the Mexican market.[1] Upon launch, Mexico national football team and FC Porto star Miguel Layun promoted Chalk on social media, as well as the broadcaster Joshua Maya.
By August, 2016 they announced the launch of Formula 1 contests, which made them the first daily fantasy sports platform worldwide to include such sport.
On September 2016, the parent company of the group was granted a Software License by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and the UK subsidiary company was granted an Operating Pool Betting License by the same regulating body.[2]
