Chand Nizami is an Indian Sufi singer. He is the main lead singer in the Indian Qawwali band Nizami Bandhu since 1999, and has been part of the band since 1983. Before Chand, his elder brother was the main leader of the band Nizami Bandhu, but after his death in 2003, Chand started leading the band with his two nephews, Shadab Nizami and Sohrab Faridi Nizami. Chand, along with his nephew Shadab Faridi Nizami, also sang for movies like Yahaan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Rockstar.
Career
In 2011, he became known for his song "Kun Faya Kun" from the film Rockstar. [1][2] He used to sing at Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi from his early age, and his father, Mahmood Nizami, used to take him with him when he performed.
