Charity Shop Sue (mini-series)[edit]
Charity Shop Sue is a 2019 internet miniseries made of 18 ten-minute episodes on YouTube.[7] The series is produced by Nottingham-based production company Spool and has Vicky McClure as a producer and Shane Meadows as an executive producer.[8] As of June 2020, the series has 2 million views on the official YouTube channel.[7]
The series is set in the fictional Sec*hand Chances charity shop in Bulwell, Nottingham in 2014. The mockumentary follows a group of charity shop staff and volunteers as they attempt to increase the shop's profile by allowing local filmmakers to record the day-to-day running of the shop.[9] After a series of negative events, Tuke refuses to participate any further in the filming and the recordings are not released until 2019.
