Career
On 29 December 2020, Cowie, a 16-year-old youth and reserve keeper, debuted for Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship versus Raith Rovers at Stark's Park, Kirkcaldy, after back-up keeper Jack Leighfield injured himself in the pre-match warm-up and first-choice keeper Rohan Ferguson was not in the matchday squad. Despite this setback, Cowie kept a clean sheet on his first-team professional debut and helped the Doonhamers to a 2–0 victory in their first away win of the season in the Scottish Championship.[2]
