Charlie Gerard Richard Wellens (born 5 December 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a Full-back for English side Manchester United.
Early life[edit]
Wellens was born in Salford on 5 December 2002. He is the son of former Leicester City player, Richie Wellens.[2]
Club career[edit]
Wellens was promoted to the Manchester United academy in the summer of 2019.[3] Wellens was also spotted training with the Manchester United first team in the weeks coming up to United's Europa League match against FC Astana in November 2019.[4] However Wellens did not make the matchday squad in the 2–1 loss in Kazakhstan.[5]
