Chelsea Grace Korka
Chelsea Grace Korka, (born June 10, 1989), is an American singer, songwriter, and model who participated in the 2006 Miss Florida USA.[1][2] Korka began her professional music career in 2007 after being signed to Interscope Records by Jimmy Iovine after she appeared on the The CW TV show Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, and was a finalist in the competition.[citation needed][3] Jimmy Iovine then signed her to Interscope Records in August 2007 as a solo artist and also one of the singers in Jimmy's latest project, the Paradiso Girls. At the age of nineteen, Chelsea became one of the nine finalists on The CW reality television series, Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. Chelsea then went to Ball Harbor in Miami and auditioned for the show. The final four elimination round featured choreography and Chelsea moved on together with Melissa Reyes, and Asia Nitollano to the season finale. She finished second.[citation needed] Per Korka's agreement with Jimmy Iovine, she joined the Paradiso Girls to gain the experience she needed for her solo project. Paradiso Girls consisted of a five-member group Jimmy Iovine created and aimed for Europe and then to be introduced to the US. Each girl represented a country, with Chelsea being the only American in the group representing the USA. Chelsea has began taking dancing classes with the other members. This group featured three English girls, one French girl and then Chelsea was the last member to join. She is still working on her solo career while Paradiso Girls debuted their first single Patron Tequila (song) featuring Lil Jon and Eve (rapper) on April 14, 2009. As promotion, the group made appearances in numerous events including TV shows, blogs and magazines.[5][6] They have also modeled for Beats By Dre and did a song/campaign for Coca-Cola Zero after the Paradiso Girls first single Paton Tequila reached #3 on the Billboard charts.[7] The group joined LMFAO and Far East Movement for their first national tour on The Party Rock Tour in 2009. The Paradiso Girls only released one more single Who's My digitally on June 22, 2010 before Aria Crescendo decided to go solo.
In January 2009, Paradiso Girls were scheduled/attended a session with LMFAO where Chelsea met Sky Blu (rapper) and began a friendship which turned into a relationship. Korka appeared in several of LMFAO's youtube videos. In October 2010, Chelsea and Sky Blu created BIG BAD which is an entertainment company.[8][9]
