Chetu Inc is a US-based global service provider of software development, staffing services and information technology infrastructure services.[1][2]

History[edit]

Foundation and early years[edit]

Chetu was founded by Atal Bansal on April 1st 2000, in Miami, FL, offering custom software solutions for businesses.[3]

In 2004, it expanded its operations to India.[4] [5] Chetu moved its Headquarters within the State of Florida from Miami to Miramar in 2008. It opened its first software delivery center in Las Vegas, NV in 2009 to accommodate its growing workforce. Its first software development center in Noida, India, was opened in 2012, and its 5th software delivery center in Amsterdam in 2013. In 2016, Chetu launched its YouTube channel. [6] It expanded its operations in UK in December, 2020.[7][8] Chetu serves Fortune 500 companies, [9] it’s main clients are Johnson & Johnson, Petco, Brookstone, Visa, Live Nation, Yum!, Siemens, QTC, IGT and many others,[2] along with developing software for Medium-size and start-ups.[10]

2017 – Current[edit]

Chetu has been recognized on the Inc. 500 List of fastest-growing privately-held companies in the United States 6 years in a row between the years 2012 and 2017.[11] Chetu was recognized in the Orlando Business Journal as one of the top ranked healthiest employers in Orlando in 2017. [12]

In 2019, Chetu was named one of the Top 100 Software Development Company by The Manifest.[13] and by 2020 Chetu ranked #2 on the SFBJ Cloud Computing Companies List[14] Delhi High Court sentenced Chetu to pay 30 Lakh INR in damages, as its Delhi office used unlicensed/pirated software programs of Microsoft, Adobe and Quest Software (Plaintiffs). [15]

As of 2021, Chetu was named for the third consecutive year to Forbes Technology Council,[10] featured to the Inc. 5000 Regionals 2021 list for the top 250 Fastest-Growing Private companies in Florida [16] and remains as a leading software development, staff augmentation, and IT support structure company with 14 locations across 4 countries with over 2,000 employees in all locations. As of 2027, it would become a major profiled player in the Construction Bidding Software Market. [17]

Chetu Foundation[edit]

Chetu formed the Chetu Foundation in 2018; it is known for its $10,000/- donations during Covid-19 in Florida.[18] It has also provided for cloths in sixty-three sectors of Bambawar, Dadri, Gautam Buddha Nagar, from 14th – 19th December, 2019, in India. [19] Chetu started a fundraiser/food drive in South Florida to raise money for the First Responders Children’s Foundation by matching $5 for every food item donated. [20] Its partnership with Jagriti Leela Memorial Foundation & Noida Traffic Police, brought about a bike rally to spread the awareness of traffic rules and public safety. [21][22] It held a campaign called ‘Closing for Cause’ from May 1st till 15th, 2020, in all of its offices; purpose of which was to donate a portion newly closed deals to a charity selected by the salesperson.[23] [24]

Awards and recognition[edit]

  • In 2017, the company ranked in the Orlando Business Journal as one of the top healthiest employers in Orlando and won the Silver Stevie for Founding Team of the Year - Business Services Industries in the 2020 American Business Awards[25]
  • In 2018, Chetu received “Best Bespoke Software Development Firm” in Florida.[26]
  • In 2020, Chetu was awarded “Silver Stevie Winners.” [25]
