Joy Organics is an American company that makes cannabidiol (CBD) products. Its headquarters are in Fort Collins, Colorado.[1][2]
History
Joy, Todd and their son Gerrid Smith founded Joy Organics in 2018.[3][4][5]Joy Smith was inspired to start the company after she was able to treat a shoulder injury using CBD oil.[3] The company’s first store opened in Old Town Fort Collins in July 2018.[1][2]Joy Organics opened a second store in Austin, Texas.[6]
In 2020, Joy Organics announced that it was releasing a line of USDA-certified organic CBD tinctures and salves.[7]
Joy Organics launched a training program for retail partners in December 2021.[3]
In 2022, Joy Organics announced that its CBD gummies would begin using organic ingredients.[3]
Joy Organics received the 2023 Best CBD Gummies Award from Optimal Health News.[4]
Every year, the company holds a “Joy Day” event in which they donate part of their earnings to charity.[8]
Products
The company sells vegan CBD gummies that come in flavors such as strawberry lemonade and green apple.[3]They are made from industrial hemp and contain no THC.[9] Other CBD products the company sells include tinctures, softgel capsules, and creams.[10][8] Some of the company’s softgel capsules contain added melatonin or curcumin.
Joy Organics also sells a CBD energy drink mix.[11]
