Chewdara, "Urdu;'چیوڑارہ", is a village in the Rathsoon block of the Beerwah tehsil, in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located 21 km (13 mi) towards west of the Budgam district headquarters, 3 km (1.9 mi) from Beerwah,[1] and 23 km (14 mi) from the state capital Srinagar. Chewdara's pin code is 193411[2] and the postal head office is Beerwah. It is the second largest village in the tehsil. It is surrounded by many villages, from north and northeast "wanihama, checkdewan, mederipora, narawarah, mahchoomba, draggar" and from east and southeast "gondipora, sourus, hayatpora, danseera" and from south and southwest "sonapah, sodipora, beerwah" and from west and northwest "arwah, aripathan, ohangam, rathsoon".
