Background[edit]

Chheang Lvai was born on October 1, 1997, in Tuol Thnong village, Koul commune, Prasat Sambour district, Kampong Thom province. He came from a poor peasant family, and due to their financial situation, he had to quit school after the 8th grade to earn money and support his family[2]

Chheang Lvai at SEA Games[edit]

Lvai is highly committed to winning a medal for the Kingdom at the SEA Games 2023. He is confident that he can take revenge against the Thai national kickboxer Thongchai Thapphli, who defeated him in the SEA Games 2022 held in Vietnam.
