China Gerui Advanced Materials Group Ltd.(河南鸽瑞复合材料有限公司) (NASDAQ: CHOP), a contract manufacturer of strip steel products, was founded in 2000 and is now headquartered in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, the People's Republic of China. The company engages in food and industrial packaging, construction and household decorations, electrical appliances, and telecommunications wires and cables industries. The company owns two subsidiaries—Henan Green and Zhengzhou Company. China Gerui Advanced Materials Group Limited was first set up as Golden Green Enterprises Limited and changed the name in December 2009 when traded on the OTC Bulletin Board.[1][2]

There are 5 series and more than 20 types of steel products, most of which are ultra-thin, high-strength (thickness: 0.05—600mm, tolerance: +/-0.003 mm).[citation needed] The raw materials used in manufacture come from Japan, South Korea, the European Union and the United States. China Gerui also makes some customized products.[4][5]

Research & Development[edit]
2013.1, China Gerui Advanced Materials Group Limited introduced a new laminated steel processing line and was estimated to put into use in the second quarter of 2013. The new processing line was focused on markets of food and beverage packaging, electrical appliances, and construction and decorations.[7]
