Chloé Mendel[1] is a fashion designer, creative director [2] and business owner,[3][4] raised in New York City (born in 1992). She is the daughter of celebrity fave-designer Gilles Mendel of J. Mendel and Jenny Mui.[5] She studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and worked with her father before launching our own faux-fur brand [6] with Gustave Maisonrouge in 2017, called Maison Atia,[7][8] surfing on the vegan trend.[9] She is the sixth generation family member of the house of Mendel [10] , and aims to continue that tradition. Maison Atia has become very popular among millennials thanks to Gigi Hadid [11] and Vogue Paris named it most trendy faux-fur of the winter [12] in 2019. With Billy Corgan, she also run a tea salon in Chicago called Madame Zuzus [13]
She has two children with her partner Billy Corgan. She gave birth to a son named Augustus Juppiter Corgan[14] on November 16, 2015. They welcomed their second child, a daughter named Philomena Clementine Corgan,[15] on October 2, 2018.
