Choa Chu Kang Mega Playground is a park in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore.

Background

It was built in 1993 by the now non-existent Bukit Batok Town Council, as one of the first so-called "mega playgrounds" of Singapore. It is located in front of Lam Soon Community Centre.

In the playground there is an adventure playground, an exercise corner, a basketball court and a street soccer court, a badminton court, a pétanque pit and an elderly fitness corner.

The initial aim of the park was to let the young channel their energy into recreational activities. Later, many more facilities were also built to meet the growing needs of the young and old of Singapore.
