Bedok West Primary School is a government primary school located in Bedok, in the eastern part of Singapore. Its Current Principal is Miss Windersalam Shyamala Devi (where students usually call her 'Ms Winders') and its Current Vice-Principal is Mdm Ong Ai Sian.
School Crest[edit]
The Shield represents 'Excellence in our work'. The Torch represents 'Desire for continual learning'. The Book represents 'Acquisition of knowledge for intellectual development'. The Paint Brush represents 'Focus on the arts for gracious living' The Figures represents 'Mass participation in physical education, sports and games for physical, emotional and social development'. And the Five Rings represents 'Unity and harmony among the members of the school and the community it serves'.

Uniform & PE Attire[edit]
The uniform for both boys and girls would include a dark blue collared white shirt, with the school logo above the left pocket. A name tag is to be displayed by sewing/ironing the name tag, which can be purchased from the school's bookstore, onto the shirt pocket. A dark blue pants is to be worn with the uniform top for the boys, and a plain dark blue skirt is to be worn for the girls.
As for the PE (physical education) Attire, both boys and girls will wear a colored polo tee-shirt. The color varying according to the student's respective 'house' group. The tee-shirt is to be worn with a dark-blue shorts.
Student Leaders, or 'Prefects" will be issued a tie by the disciplinary committee and the student is to wear the tie at all times.
