Chris Ferry (born January 29, 1989 in Somers Point, New Jersey) is an Addiction Recovery Advocate, Entrepreneur, and internet personality (content creator). Ferry is best known for his work in digital marketing and social media, leading Florida–based company Boca Recovery Center.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
Career[edit]
Based in Boca Raton, Florida, born and raised in New Jersey, Ferry began helping people early on. Ferry was a sportsman from the start and played Ice hockey as a part of his High School varsity team.[9][10] At the age of 18, he received a try out invitation for the US National Team Development Program (Team USA).[11] He quit Ice hockey and got into drugs.[12][13][14][15][16][17]
After ongoing drug abuse and struggling with his addiction, Ferry had to go to drug rehab several times.[18][19] During this time, he also was the Co-founder of the Jacksonville-based insurance franchise known as We Insure Florida. Due to his addiction, he had to leave his position and go back to rehab.[20][21] Once he got sober, Ferry started to use past experiences to help others in similar situations.[22][11][23][24][25][26][27][28]
After six years of being sober, he is the founder of a notable drug and alcohol treatment center, Boca Recovery Center.[29][30] Ferry is a Certified National Master Interventionist (C.N.M.I.) from the National Association of Drug & Alcohol Interventionists (N.A.D.A.I.).[31][32] He has studied marketing and business development in depth.[33][34][23][35][36][37][38]
Christopher Ferry, being a sportsman, now regularly attends sporting events and maintains his interest in physical fitness.[39][40][41][42][43][44][45][46]
He notably founded Clean and Sober - Addiction Recovery Support, one of the largest social media groups of its category.[47][48][49][50][51][52][53][54]
