Christopher Stacy Cheeks Jr.[1] (December 11, 1991 – April 20, 2024), known professionally as Chris King, was an American rapper. He was best known for his collaborations with his best friend Trippie Redd. On April 20, 2024, he was shot and killed in Nashville, Tennessee.

2013: First music release[edit]
Chris King released his first EP Who Is Chris King on March 11, 2013.[2]
2016–2017: A Love Letter to You and debut projects[edit]
In 2016, King released Welcome To Fantana as his debut mixtape.[3] In 2017, King was featured on Trippie Redd's A Love Letter to You with Love Scars Pt. 2/Rack City on May 12[4], and A Love Letter to You 2 with Back Of My Mind and Dangerous on October 6.[5] On December 20, King released his second mixtape Leonardo Di'Trappio.[6]
2018–2019: Another Trippie Redd collab and three own projects[edit]
In 2018, King dropped 3 projects. His third mixtape Modern Day Mozart on July 5[7], and his fourth and fifth mixtapes; Snot Friday on December 1[8], and only 12 days after, on December 13, Snot The World.[9] King's first project of 2019 was Snottynosedilla, which was released on February 1, as his sixth mixtape.[10] On March 27, King released his seventh mixtape: Luck Of The Snotty.[11] On August 1, King released his eighth mixtape: Snotty Nose Summer.[12] On November 6, King dropped his first collaborative mixtape with Buddah Bands: Buddah Snot.[13] And shorty after, on November 22, King's third feature on a Trippie Redd record dropped, called Can You Rap Like Me, Pt. 2.[14]
2020–2021: First collab project[edit]
On June 23, 2020, King's ninth mixtape released, Brazy Hours.[15] On October 2 Sneeze! released, which was his tenth mixtape.[16] On December 4 King collabbed with Famous Dex on an EP called Snotty Nose Dexter.[17] On December 11, 2020, King released Ble$$ You, his eleventh mixtape.[18] Exactly one year later, King released his twelfth mixtape, Mucus.[19]
2022–2023: Feature from Ski Mask the Slump God[edit]
On June 22, 2022, released the song Bullseye! featuring Ski Mask The Slump God.[20] On October 30, King released his thirteenth mixtape $$$ Don't Buy Happiness.[21] On February 13, 2023, King collabbed with Trippie Redd again for the song Can't Go For Your Love.[22] On March 31, King was on the song Dallas, collabbing with Trippie Redd, again, Chills & Josh A.[23] On May 5, King dropped The Green Tape serving as his fourteenth mixtape.[24] On November 24, King released Luck Of The Snotty 2, his fifteenth mixtape, which would ultimately be the last project released in his lifetime.[25]
2024: Final music released in lifetime[edit]
On April 8, King released his final song, titled Seeing Double Seeing Double.[26]
King teased the release of The Luck of Snotty 3 as continuation of the The Luck of Snotty album series.[27]
Personal life and death[edit]
King was born in Fontana, California, on December 11, 1991. On April 20, 2024, he was killed in Nashville, Tennessee, during a shooting which also left two others injured. He was 32.[28]
