Chris Lewis (born July 7, 1996), better known by his stage name Fly Fierra, is an American hip hop recording artist and record producer and record label executive. Raised in Durham, North Carolina,Fierra initially gained recognition as a rapper following the release of several singles and eps, In 2012 Fierra Founded The Label Imprint The Flying Cranes Recordings.

Biography

Early life

Chris Lewis was born in Durham, North Carolina. Lewis said he grew up listening to Nas, Jay Z, Notorious B.I.G. and others such as 50 Cent, T.I. and Young Jeezy but he seemed to enjoy and gravitated more towards bands like Alice in Chains and the Dramatics. While attending high school after musically finding himself and his style Fierra worked on developing His basic understanding of rhyming and wordplay, as well beginning to learn how to intertwine storytelling within his lyrics. By 15, Fierra had various notebooks filled with song ideas, cadences, flows, and even formulas to future projects. Over the next three years, he began performing state to state venue to venue recording nonstop and made a pledge to himself to only do just that. After working for a few years In 2016, he began a three part series under the title “Dedication To The Flyness.” The title originated from the  love he has for his craft, and to pay homage to legends that came before him who are known as the Jets. Polishing his persona, he was able to create a new look and style for this series that showcased his diversity and skill not just as a rapper but musician.
