Christ the King Sausage Fest
Christ the King Sausage Fest[1] is an annual event held by Christ the King Catholic Parish in Richland, Washington.[2][3][4] The event began in 1977, making the 2009 festival the parish's 33rd.[5] In addition to sausage, beer and other comestibles, Sausage Fest features a farm market, games such as bingo, and a chicken dance competition.[6] It also serves as an important venue for many local bands.[7] The festival is supported by donations, and the work of over 2000 volunteers.
