Christian Raster

Christian Raster (1776–1832), was a statesman in Anhalt-Dessau and administrative officer to Leopold IV, Duke of Anhalt-Dessau. He had eight children and his son, Hermann Raster became editor of several German-American newspapers in the United States, including the Illinois Staats-Zeitung.[1]
